Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, May 26th, 2023

Everything I ever learned I learned from plants. They are generally metaphors but growing plants teaches you a lot about life. Here are 5 things plants have taught me

1. If you move them to new conditions quickly they struggle. You can have a plant thriving in a certain location and decide you’d like to move it. Maybe it got too big or you want to split it and have another one. You need to give that plant time to adjust. Any changes in light or soil will be a struggle. When I move a plant, I usually cut it back hard to take some of the stress away. People are no different. They need time to adjust to new surroundings

2. Patience. Most plants peak many years after you plant them. Growing plants for sale means you are planting something you may not sell for 3 to 5 years. You have to plan for no income from those plants and only costs. Time is a great barrier to entry and if you are patient you can use that to your favor

3. Beauty came make you spend money you shouldn’t. For 30 years I have watched people spend money on flowers they really can’t afford and they are going to die at the end of the year (annuals). Beauty makes you forget the zeros on your bank account. Men have known this for centuries.

4. If someone is addicted to plants they tend to be nicer people than average. They love to spend time in the garden. Usually not wearing headphones, just taking it in. That’s good for the mind and soul. It’s also good exercise. Obviously not 100% accurate but a person that has a beautiful flower garden gives me an idea that they are more likely to be kinder

5. If you don’t put in the work AFTER you have a nice looking plant you won’t have a nice looking plant long. It doesn’t stop when you plant something. The care after is almost more important than the care of the grower. Most people forget about maintenance. Of everything. They expect everything plug and play and forget. Life doesn’t work that way. Even married couples of many years should always be working on their relationships.

Before you go: I have a special offer today. A friend of mine is selling this entire package for $3K. Let me know if you are interested. It’s a package, not sold individually.

If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.

  1. Butthole Surfers 🙂
Yep, like you Shane, I also listened to them in the back in the ’80s.
They were really popular on the college scene here in Texas, being that they were formed
at Trinity University in San Antonio.
