I probably am as diversified in my assets as anyone can be. I own medium sized business, land, stocks, bonds, domains, crypto, nfts, and my house. The only thing I don’t own is a vacation rental so I am looking for an asset that cash flows itself. I can use my credit and some cash to get it but I want it to cover its own mortgage. There are a lot of options but I want it to be a place that I want to spend time in. So realistically it will be Colorado, down south, or property on a popular lake.
Florida recently dipped under the cash flow price and most seem to be falling short now. Three years ago it was easy to find because of Covid, but the last two years some many people have participated in AirBnB that income levels are dipping and prices aren’t. North Carolina prices have dropped and still lots of cash flow opportunities.
If anyone has any cities/areas that rent really well but prices aren’t bad let me know. I’m retired so under a million please 😂
