Andy Booth Bags a Pair of 6-Figure Sales to Take Top Two Spots on Our Latest Domain Sales Chart

Domain broker Andy Booth (Booth.com) has been racking up high end sales for so many years I've lost count,  but you don't hear about most of them as Andy has preferred to maintain a low profile and most of his clients want non-disclosure agreements. His firm has been involved in career sales running into nine figures now. So, it was good to see Andy let a couple of recent cats out of the bag this week with posts on X.com revealing that, with the help of SquadHelp.com, he had closed two new six-figure sales - Miri.com at $199,995 and Precise.ai at $110,000. That impressive pair sets the pace on our latest all-extension Top 20 Domain Sales Chart

Andy was an early mover in the artificial intelligence space and is a big booster of the booming .ai TLD. His Precise.ai sale gives that extension five of the top six entries on our YTD Top 100 ccTLD Chart (2nd chart on the page linked to) - ranking # 6 in a group headed by #1 You.ai (sold for $700,000 at Sedo last month).

With a .com taking the top spot and a ccTLD the second, the non .com gTLDs got into the top tier act this week too with the .cloud registry's $87,200 sale of #3 ML.cloud in a deal brokered by Nidoma.com. That sale also ranks as the 6th biggest publicly reported sale year to date in this category.

There is a lot of diversity on the latest chart with half of the entries going to .coms and half to non .coms. The .coms ran off a nice string from numbers four through six with Sedo banking $58,888 for Relu.com, SnapNmes notching $53,499 for 802.com and NameJet collecting $45,750 for Weapons.com

The non .com gTLDs had a very good outing too, putting seven entries on the Big Board including Afternic's $40,000 sale of #7 P.vip. That left three spots for the ccTLDs including a second top ten entry with Sedo's $20,710 sale of #9 Access.me

Country Codes

The ccTLDs were, as you saw earlier, led by 800-pound gorilla Precise.ai at $110,000 with Access.me ($20,710) and MegaSale.de ($10,895) providing solid back up. Sedo sold the latter two and went on to round out the first five on our latest Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart with Solitairejeu.fr at $9,265 and Fruchtbar.de at $8,720.

Sedo didn't stop there either as they went on to sweep 19 of they 22 chart entries (the extra spots resulted from a three-way tie for the final spot).  Aside from Andy Booth's #1 sale, the only other exceptions to the Sedo rule were a pair of  .ca sales made by Ilze Kaulins-Plaskacz at ExcellentDomains.ca. Ilze sold KBL.ca and MOC.ca for $4,599 (US) each.

Germany's popular .de scored an easy win in the TLD race by piling up 10 chart entries. Here is how the ccTLDs stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, November 19, 2023:

Non .com gTLDs

Our latest Non .com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart will look pretty familiar since the top seven sales in this group also made the all extension Top 20 Chart you saw at the top of this report with ML.cloud leading the way at $87,200. The biggest sale in this group that you haven't seen yet is Sedo's $9,800 sale of #8 Hima.xyz.

Among sales venues, Afternic claimed the most entries with nine, including #9 BV.vip at $7,999. Seven of the Afternic sales were ultra-short .vip domains, giving that extension a close win in the TLD race, just ahead of .org's six chart entries.
