Spaceship is a rapidly growing domain registrar founded by Namecheap CEO Richard Kirkendall. In mid-April, the registrar hit 775,000 domains under management (DUM) after passing the 400,000 mark just a few months prior.
This morning, Richard shared a Spaceship coupon code that could appeal to people seeking to transfer their .com domain names at a reduced price. The code Richard shared on X is SPSCOMTR. For anyone looking to transfer their domain names using a discount code to any registrar, I would suggest finding out the renewal costs for .com domain names before transferring. While renewal costs can change, it would be good to ensure the price is reasonable to avoid having to transfer domain names elsewhere before the next renewal period.
I have many websites hosted at Spaceship but they are at a different registrar.
When you try to transfer the domains to Spaceship, you have to go thru so many steps like disconnecting the connection……….it is a pain in the A*&^SSSS and the websites will be down for at least 3 days. You better do a backup before you transfer!!
Namecheap should change the name to Spaceship
