Verisign Reports More than 19 Million Domains Added to the Internet Over the Past Year
Verisign released their Q1-2014 Domain Name Industry Brief today, a report that said the total number of registered domain names worldwide (across all extensions) has jumped to 276 million. That is a 7.5% increase in the past year with over 19 million names added to the web.
